On
Thursday, July 14th an All-Star team from the NCLL
(Northern Cayuga Little League) won the District 5 11&12
year old Baseball Tournament in Waterloo. This team was
comprised of players from Jordan-Elbridge, Port Byron
and Weedsport.
For the first time since the inception of the NCLL, this
group of local baseball players has advanced to the
second round of the Williamsport Little League
Tournament as they went undefeated in the tournament
(4-0) defeating Southern Cayuga, Penn Yan, Auburn and
Geneva in the championship game. |
