Northern Cayuga Little
League (NCLL) - Is a baseball and softball league for
boys and girls baseball ages
5 to12. It is made up of teams from Jordan-Elbridge,
Montezuma, Port Byron, Skaneateles (Softball Only) and
Weedsport. In addition, NCLL has teamed up with Cato
Little League (Major and Minor Baseball and Softball) and
Southern Cayuga Little League (Girls Softball Only) to provide a
more diverse schedule of games to be played. Travel is
required. Season usually begins the first week of May and
is completed by the 4th of July.
Boys Major Baseball League
- Is a NCLL baseball league generally intended for boys
baseball ages
11 and 12. However younger players may tryouts and be
selected on a majors team. Players are selected by
participating in a tryout which the coaches of the major teams
will draft players to fill their teams roster. Team
players from previous years do not need to tryout. The
season consists of 12 games generally played on Mondays and
Wednesdays at 6pm. Scores and standings are kept in order to
setup a single elimination playoff schedule when the season in
complete.
Girls
Major Softball League - Is a NCLL softball league
generally intended for girls baseball ages
11 and 12. However younger players may tryouts and be

NCLL baseball league generally intended for boys baseball ages
7 and 8. Pony League utilizes a pitching machine. Players are selected by having team coaches draft
players to fill their teams roster. The season consists of 10
games generally played on Saturdays mornings with some
occasional weekday game. Scores
are kept but there are not playoffs.
Instructional League -
Is a NCLL baseball league
generally intended for boys and girls baseball ages
5 and 6. Instructional league is a coach pitch league. No Scores
are kept.
